Actually, masks don't prevent you from breathing in the virus. It's to drastically reduce the area in which you spread it if you catch it. Therefore the masks and social distance. Example. Sneeze could launch particles up to 6 meters away without a mask while with a mask it's still close to you. Same with coughing. You can carry the virus and not notice it. Anything van cause sneezes and coughs. Best to just use common sense. Keep some distance and wear the damn thing. Soon the virus will be dealt with.
