Yeah but even though extreme poverty (under 2$ a day) is lowering, the amount of "Standart poverty" (under 5$ a day) is rising. Also the world's economical growth is getting smaller and smaller by the year. We had a major famine in Africa last year and this summer destroyed 40% of European crops and dried out all reserves. And the next summers are believed to get even hotter.
